During the EuroBasket 2013 tournament, hosted by Ljubljana in September, there are to be some special adventure-flavoured trip programmes around Ljubljana that are not normally available from the Ljubljana Tourism public institute.

There will be options to take a rowing trip along the Ljubljanica River from Podpeč to the centre of Ljubljana, during which you will row across the protected area of Ljubljana Barje Landscape Park, helicopter flights and archery, adrenaline fun high in the treetops at Geoss Adventure Park and hiking through the picturesque Iški Vintgar gorge.

There are also going to be numerous open-air events in Ljubljana city centre during the EuroBasket tournament, while on the Happy Janez sightseeing bus, which will be parked near Congress Square, amongst other things there will be ticket sales for the adventures around Ljubljana mentioned above.
