Again this year participating in MIPIM in Cannes

Again this year the City of Ljubljana is participating in MIPIM 2019 in Cannes, the largest investment and property show in Europe, where we are presenting some of our projects.

MIPIM is the largest international investment and property hub, where each year the latest property trends and key global investment projects are showcased to the most influential property decision-makers and investors from around the world.

For the City of Ljubljana the MIPIM show is an opportunity to present our investment environment and actual investment projects to potential investors. We have been participating in the show together with our project partners ever since 2008. Each year we are presenting projects of strategic importance for the development and renovation of Ljubljana.

This year we are highlighting, among other projects, the residential neighbourhoods at Rakuševa and Celovška cesta as well as the Brdo II neighbourhood, the expansion of the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre Gospodarsko razstavišče and the hotel and business centre at Bavarski dvor.

The main topics of our presentations at the MIPIM show were:

  • 2008: Ljubljana – City vision 2025
  • 2009: Partnership Šmartinska re-development project: City in Motion
  • 2010: Ljubljana: Sustainable traffic investment
  • 2011: City of Ljubljana: On the crossroads of Europe
  • 2012: Sports: Development through sports – Investing in human resources
  • 2013: Slovenian way – Ljubljana main street re-development
  • 2014: Housing and Jobs

  • 2016: Ljubljana – European green capital 2016
