On Tuesday, 17 October 2017, tennis player Andreja Klepač, before departing for the final tournament of best female tennis players in the world, met with Mayor Zoran Janković.

Andreja Klepač has had her best season yet crowned by qualifying for the final tournament of best female tennis players in the world. It is held from 22 until 29 October 2017 in Singapore with eight best doubles and eight best singles playing.

Right after Mimi Jaušovec (singles), Tina Križan and Katarina Srebotnik Andreja Klepač is the fourth best Slovenian who managed to get into the world top and play in the final masters.

In 2013, after numerous injuries and five operations, the permanent member of the Slovenian team has decided to continue her career only playing in doubles. For a long time she was looking for a suitable co-player, she also played with Katarina Srebotnik for a while, and this winter she came to an agreement with Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez from Spain, four years her senior, and her career has catapulted. Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez already won the final masters in 2009, while for Andreja Klepač this is her first time in the world elite.
