Chatbot Ljubo from Ljubljana

In Ljubljana we have a lot of success with many smart solutions which we are tailoring to the needs and capabilities of our city. The introduction of a chatbot which we named Ljubo from Ljubljana is an additional smart solution we have developed for easier and more efficient communication with the citizens.

Citizens can use the chatbot in Facebook Messenger as a fast and simple way to access key information which (daily) impacts their everyday life in Ljubljana. In one place they can find numerous useful pieces of information.

A great added value of the talking assistant are the links to the information on arrivals and departures of LPP buses, available BicikeLJ docking stations, available public parking spaces and the waste collection schedule.

Citizens can use the application to send in their initiatives or access information on the website www.ljubljana.si with keywords.

We shall regularly build upon the contents of the chatbot on the basis of citizens’ interest in certain areas of operation of the City of Ljubljana and in this way continue to improve the user experience.

Just as a reminder, we set up the first chatbot – Miss COOL (Gdč. KUL) – in the beginning of summer within the framework of the June in Ljubljana festival. Miss COOL reached a wide circle of Facebook users with information on the contents of the June in Ljubljana festival.
