Within the International Peace Day, on 21 September, 35 elementary schools in Ljubljana organised by the Jože Moškrič Elementary School have participated in an international project ENO TREE PLANTING DAY.

ENO TREE PLANTING DAY is an international UNESCO project since 2004 which is organised in the framework of the International Peace Day under the supervision of the ENO (Environment Online) organisation based in Finland. Planting the trees is aimed to contribute to a better environment, and the organisation's goal is to plant 100 million trees by 2017. So far the schools have planted around 17 million trees of peace.

On Friday, 20 September 2014, at noon some of the students and teachers of 35 elementary schools in Ljubljana gathered at their school courtyards and planted the trees of peace. Each school planted one tree to grow along them and connect the students of all generations.
