On 25 October 2018, LGBT-Friendly Certificates were awardedin the City Hall, the aim of which is to raise awareness of individuals and create a positive atmosphere for everyone within the work environment and towards customers.

Certificates were awarded to the following organisations:

• Babit Dental Centre
• Senior Citizens Home Ljubljana Vič-Rudnik
• Youth Cultural Centre Maribor
• Sladič & Resnik Law Firm
• Slovene Ethnographic Museum
• Jelka Kindergarten
• Miškolin Kindergarten
• Pedenjped Kindergarten
• Mikro + Polo d.o.o.

LGBT-Friendly Certificates were first awarded in 2014, and the abovementioned recipients joined 27 organisations, among them Ljubljana's public institutes and companies as well as national and private organisations which have already received the certificate.
