Ljubljana’s green treasure – Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška Hill Landscape Park

In the middle of Ljubljana lays a wonderful green treasure – Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška Hill Landscape Park providing us with numerous opportunities for spending free time in touch with nature and with respect towards it.

In a short film from a visitor’s point of view we are presenting many options for visiting and experiencing the Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška Hill Landscape Park, which has been providing space for spending quality free-time for over 200 years.

In three minutes we take you from Tivoli, over Rožnik to the Koseze Pond, that is some of the parts of the most visited natural protected area in Slovenia giving the capital a unique, green mark.

The park covers 459 hectares of the north-western part of Ljubljana and encompasses the Tivoli City Park, the Rožnik forests, the Šiška Hill and other hill tops to the Koseze boršt and the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship. For Ljubljana's residents and visitors it provides real contact with nature, the green lungs of the city and a local playground or a sports area. In any case, the Landscape Park is a space of relaxation, inspiration and culture.
