'Nature – health'

The 42nd 'Nature – health' fair is to take place at Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre from 6 to 9 October 2011.

The 'Nature – health' fair offers products, activities and ecological awareness-raising ideas for a healthy lifestyle and sustainable development.

This year's fair is to showcase a new approach to raising visitors' awareness and greater recognition of exhibitors and their products on display at the fair. In partnership with the Slovenian Consumers' Association, the organisers will gather all of the certificates exhibitors entrust to them for their verification and verify food through certificates.

On the basis of these certificates a guide through the fair will be prepared, which will facilitate visitors’ decision-making regarding purchases or serve as useful information about which certificates actually stand for quality and suitability.

The Nature-Health Fair is based on the long-term trends of rising environmental awareness and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The whole project, consisting of an exhibition and a professional part, aims to showcase nature’s diversity and integrity that nowadays affects the everyday operations of our entire society, individuals and companies alike. Due to this highly interesting and topical issue, the fair organisers expect to welcome more than 25,000 visitors in the four days of the fair. According to their analyses, visitors not only see the exhibition but also seek out more information about the themes showcased.

The event is composed of several thematic sets that offer visitors several ways of living a healthy life and harmony with nature, as well as enabling exhibitors to prepare a target presentation for their highest-potential customers:

  • Section Nutrition
  • Section Wellness and exercise
  • Section Health for tomorrow
  • Section Ecohome and environment
