There is a new state-of-the-art Ljubljana Pharmacy unit in the new shopping centre Aleja.

The Aleja Pharmacy spans over 120 m2, it has four counters and a separate area for customer consultations, ensuring discretion in performing pharmacy services. The pharmacy has an area for the production of extemporaneous medicinal products and a pharmacy robot – an automated storage and dispensing system delivering medication to counters. It uses electronic price tagging of products on shelfs and a large interactive screen serves as a virtual shelf or as additional aid for pharmacists when they are showing product properties or advising customers. The advantage of equipping a pharmacy with such technology is that pharmacists have more time for personal contact with patients.

At the opening of the new unit, the Director of the Ljubljana Pharmacy Dr. Marjan Sedej said he is very pleased that the Ljubljana Pharmacy is part of the new modern shopping centre allowing visitors easy access to pharmacy services. Aleja Pharmacy is open from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 21:00, and on Saturdays from 8:00 to 21:00.
