In the Milan Šuštaršič Primary School we have opened a new modern extension where we have accommodated first grade pupils and their teachers.

The ground floor extension spans over 287 m2, its architectural design is modern and is was built within the framework of the activities Ljubljana, smart city. It is constructed from wood and is energy efficient.
In the extension we set up three classrooms, bathrooms, a teachers’ office and a changing room. There are footstools in the changing room set up for relaxation and the aesthetic comfort of the space. The extension has atriums on both sides (the inner one is green) jointly extending over 120 m2. Thinking of our environment we have also created a green roof on the flat part of the roof over the lobby.

With the new extension we have provided enough room for 525 pupils in 24 departments and by doing this we have made sure they will be able to enrich their knowledge in modern facilities with high quality equipment.
