On Thursday, 5 December 2019, the Vodmat Primary School opened after its static and energy renovation which was carried out within the framework of the public-private partnership with the consortium of companies Petrol d.d., Resalta d.o.o. and Javna razsvetljava d.d..

We have improved seismic safety with additional concrete walls, steel frames and reinforced plastering strengthening the construction of the building. By installing external fire escapes, a fire warning system and additional fire sectors we have also improved fire safety, and we introduced a special ventilation system for the reduction of radon concentrations. In addition, we have comprehensively renovated the electrical system and installed new interior fittings.
