Within the framework of the European Week of Sport the energy renovated Tivoli Waterpark opened its doors on Wednesday, 26 September 2018.

The energy renovation was carried out within the scope of a public-private partnership between the City of Ljubljana and the consortium of the companies Petrol and Resalta. It included work on the building envelope, replacement of the façade, metal construction and glass parts as well as air conditioning, heating system and lighting.

The value of the investment is 1,948,300 EUR.

Energy renovation of the buildings of the City of Ljubljana

The renovation of the Tivoli Waterpark is just one of many energy renovations of buildings owned by the City of Ljubljana which are being carried out within the scope of the public-private partnership between the City of Ljubljana and the consortium of the companies Petrol and Resalta according to the principle of energy contracting. Together we are going to renovate as many as 48 buildings in Ljubljana, among them cultural and scientific structures, schools, kindergartens, sports facilities and city administration buildings. The renovations are going to significantly reduce the use energy products, increase the share of renewable energy sources and consequently reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
