Within the scope of marking the 60th anniversary of the Oskar Kovačič Primary School a new extension and renovated school premises were opened.

The renovation included the kitchen and the dining hall, two new classrooms were set up, the home economics classroom and the office of the school counselling service, and the temporary music classroom was transformed into a multipurpose area for relaxation next to the dining hall.

In the new extension we set up rooms for the school administration, a staff room and special classrooms for music, physics, biology and art (each of them has an office), two standard classrooms and an office for specialised pedagogical work. There are lobbies on both floors of the extension.
