On 10 October 2018, the renovated Franc Rozman Stane Primary School on Prušnik Street in Šentvid opened ensuring even better conditions for teachers and students to work and study in.

The Franc Rozman Stane Primary School is already 107 years old, the renovation was divided into two phases, the first one concluded in 2016 and the second one this year.

Within the scope of the renovation a structure was erected where a new dining hall and a kitchen were opened. Where the old gymnasium stood only the construction was preserved and a new modern gymnasium was built. In addition, the building underwent a static and energy renovation, and the electric installations and the pluming were renewed. We have also set up new classrooms for pupils of the first triennial, smart classrooms, classrooms specifically equipped for computer science and home economics, teachers’ offices, a staff room and students’ changing rooms. The bathrooms have also been renovated.
