In Ljubljana, we continue to expand and renovate the pedestrian area in the city centre, which already covers about 17 ha. We started with the renovation of the Petkovšek Embankment between Reselj Street and Rozman Street, which will look similar to the arrangement of the embankment on the section from Prešeren Square to the Dragon Bridge. Parking in the landscaped area during and after the renovation will no longer be possible.

After the renovation, the area will be even more pleasant, especially for pedestrians and cyclists, and access to motor vehicles will be limited. In this way, we will connect the city centre with the new Rog Centre and revitalize the bypass axis in the direction of the renovated sugar factory Cukrarna.
