Šport ljubljana

The Tivoli Institute, Ljubljana's public institute for the management of sporting facilities and areas owned by the City of Ljubljana, has a new name, new integrated graphic identity and a new website.

At a meeting of the City of Ljubljana City Council on Monday 30 May 2011, the new name of the Tivoli Institute was adopted, which from now on is to be known as the 'Šport Ljubljana' public institute. In line with the new name comes the new integrated graphic identity and new website.

In a competition to supply new conceptual ideas and solutions for the design of the basic elements of the integrated graphic identity of the 'Šport Ljubljana' public institute, first place was taken by a proposal prepared by Žare Kerin from Futura DDB, d.o.o. In addition to the institute's new name and logo, Futura, d.o.o. have renamed formerly individual units into parks that are defined geographically. In the Šport Ljubljana public institute, we have also decided to unify the names of sporting facilities on the new website.

In the invitation to tender offers for the production of the Šport Ljubljana public institute's new website, Sonce.net, d.o.o. was selected as the most suitable provider and contractor; four firms responded to the invitation to tender offers. In line with the institute's new name, the domain name of the new website is sport-ljubljana.si.

The new website of the Šport Ljubljana public institute, whose mission is to enable the best possible possibilities and conditions for quality and recreational sport in Ljubljana, can be viewed at this link.

The activities of the Šport Ljubljana public institute are exceptionally broad, as under the wing of the institute there take place sporting events of global and European significance, competitions for national championships as well as practice and training of top teams that are based at Hala Tivoli and the Stožice Centre, while a range of courses and recreational programmes of every kind are also available.
