The campaign For a More Beautiful Ljubljana concludes again with the clean-up of the Ljubljanica River
On Saturday, 23 April 2022, the traditional spring campaign For a More Beautiful Ljubljana concluded with the clean-up of the Ljubljanica River and a varied program on its embankments.
Man, don't throw trash.Rather throw flower seeds.
To thank passers-by for caring for a clean environment, we gave them plants grown in the University Botanic Gardens Ljubljana. This is the first year they are getting flower seeds in addition to plants.
In the City of Ljubljana, we have been raising awareness of the importance of respecting the common public space for many years with the socially responsible campaign Man, take care of your city. Within the framework of the campaign For a More Beautiful Ljubljana, we are conveying the message "Man, don't throw trash. Rather throw flower seeds," with which we are additionally directing attention to the unacceptability of polluting the Ljubljanica River and its surrounding area.
