On 17 September 2015, Deputy Mayor Dejan Crnek was present at the celebrations in Sofia during the Day of Sofia and met with the Deputy Mayor Irina Savina.

During the visit the Deputy Mayor also attended the formal assembly of the Sofia Municipality where the titles Honorary Citizens of Sofia were awarded.

As a reminder, on 4 September 2015, the City of Ljubljana and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria organized a Sofia Day with the purpose of getting to know different aspects of Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage and the culinary wealth of Bulgaria.
