Websi award – web heroes 2013

Among hundreds of Slovenian web projects, the Municipality of Ljubljana and its website have received the WEBSI award – Web Heroes 2013 in the category of public organisations.

The ten categories of the WEBSI award – Web Heroes 2013 included 103 web projects which were reviewed as best digital projects by an expert and business committee of over 50 members and website users.

The committee was formed from expert and business fields, comprising of experts in the field of digital services and representatives of digital agencies, and those from successful Slovenian companies – marketing, digital communication and public relations. The projects were examined and graded from the point of view of the content, design and user experience. 15 % of the final grade represented the user review a.k.a. the voice of the people.

The website of the Municipality of Ljubljana was created by the Innovatif company and has received the highest number of points in the category of public organisations. We are most excited about the number of points from you, our website users – 87 points out of 100.


The Javni Holding Ljubljana website came in second in the category of public organisations, while the website of the MOL’s public institution Ljubljana Tourism came in second in the category of tourism and leisure time.

The WEBSI project is organised and directed by E-laborat, a company for counselling and analytics of web space, and Marketing Magazine in order to encourage excellence in the Slovenian digital space.
