Pionirski dom: Young theatre – Mlado gledališče
In the Pionirski dom the leader of the project »Young theatre – Mlado gledališče«, the aim of which is to forge links between professional and nonprofessional theatre creators, attain new theatre knowledge and arouse the interest of the young people to visit and participate in theatre projects as well as to develop a lasting loving relationship with culture in the audience.

Through the RUNE (Rural Network) Project, we will provide broadband internet access in all sections of Ljubljana
The City of Ljubljana has joined the RUNE Project, the aim of which is to offer access to the internet through the fibre-optic network to the inhabitants of areas where other market operators have no interest in building broadband access connections.

On 28 December 2018, Mayor Zoran Janković and the managing director of Elea iC Angelo Žigon signed an agreement at City Hall on the drafting of project phases for the acquisition of a building permit and on the implementation of the Ilirija pool project.

11th ‘Beavers’ Festival of Cultural and Art Education
Beavers are returning to Ljubljana. The theme of this year’s festival, which will run from 19 January to 8 February, will be ‘dance-move-body’. Numerous events will therefore be linked, in some way, to that theme.

New recognitions for congress tourism in Ljubljana
Within the framework of the 11th Conventa trade show, the largest event in the field of business and congress tourism in New Europe, we received two prestigious certificates: Meeting Star Award for a congress destination in the category of cities that can host events for up to 2000 people, and the certificate for one of the best destinations in New Europe.
