Energetika Ljubljana to Cooperate in the Public Sector Reorganisation in Pančevo
On 28 and 29 June 2016, the General Manager of the public company Energetika Ljubljana Samo Lozej and the Mayor of Pančevo Saša Pavlov continued their talks regarding the cooperation of the energy company Energetika Ljubljana in the reorganisation of the public sector in Pančevo.

Energetika Ljubljana signed a supply contract for the main technological equipment for the construction of the gas and steam unit
Director of Energetika Ljubljana Samo Lozej and the chosen supplier of the main technological equipment, the Greek company Mytilineos HOLDINGS S.A., signed a contract for 118 million euro (excluding VAT) for the supply and installation of two gas turbo aggregates with steam utilisers and the corresponding technological equipment, which is the key step for the start of the construction of the gas and steam unit.

Encouraging cycling with various measures
Ljubljana continues to develop and improve the cycling infrastructure. We have designed new cycling surfaces on several roads and streets and plan to open the first covered bicycle storage.

The recipient of the European Mobility Week Award 2013, the City of Ljubljana, has been a host to the International Coordination Meeting of the European Mobility Week, the largest European Commission campaign to encourage sustainable mobility.

Emw award 2013
The City of Ljubljana was awarded the European Mobility Week Award for 2013 in Brussels on 24 March 2014. Ljubljana participated along 30 cities from 12 countries and it is the only city to win the award two times.

EMW 2021: Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility
For twenty years, the City of Ljubljana has been participating in the European Mobility Week (EMW), the biggest international campaign for the promotion of sustainable mobility, held every year between 16 and 22 September.
