Elementary school bičevje receives un award
At the Vienna International Human Rights Film Festival, the students of the Elementary School Bičevje received the first prize awarded by UNIS Vienna and UNHCR Austria for a short film about human (child) rights titled We All Make the World Beautiful.

Electric train Urban out of service
On 23 March 2017, the electric train Urban caught fire on the parking lot of the public passenger transport company LPP and is out of service until further notice.

Electric Train Urban
In Ljubljana the electric-powered train Urban is starting its test drive in the middle of April. The environmentally friendly zero-emissions vehicle is going to operate on a circular route connecting main city attractions.

Eleanor Roosevelt statue erected at the 70th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights
On 10 December, Human Rights Day, Ljubljana unveiled the statue of Eleanor Roosevelt, who presided over the committee which drew up the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Between 4 and 20 November 2022, fans of women's handball and handball in general can watch the European Women's Handball Championship, Women's EHF EURO 2022, the biggest sports event in Slovenia in 2022 and the most significant international women's sports event in our country so far, held in the Stožice Arena.
