Renovated Trubar Street - a space for all
The Trubar Street is one of the oldest streets in Ljubljana, as it was first mentioned already in 1802. This is certainly one of the reasons why the Trubar Street is so deeply anchored in the consciousness of the citizens of Ljubljana. That is why they always like coming back.

New cultural strategy adopted
At its October session the City Council of the City of Ljubljana has unanimously adopted the Culture Development Strategy in the City of Ljubljana for the period 2020-2023 with guidelines up to 2027.

The assessment was carried out within the framework of the 2nd conference on e-mobility in municipalities, and Ljubljana won based on the overall mark given by the expert jury and the votes cast in an online survey.

Laying stumbling stones
For the third consecutive year, in cooperation with the Jewish Cultural Centre Ljubljana, we are running the project of placing commemorative markings into the pavement, the so-called stumbling stones – Stolpersteine, initiated by German artist Günter Demnig to commemorate holocaust victims.

Virtual meeting of the Rainbow Cities Network
This year we attended the meeting of rainbow cities, which should have been held in Bergen, Norway, only virtually due to the epidemic and discussed the activities of the Rainbow Cities Network with representatives of other cities on 5 and 6 November 2020.

International exhibition of posters on tolerance
From 11 November to 2 December 2020, an international exhibition of posters on the topic of tolerance is on display in the open-air gallery on the platform in front of the Slovenian House (Figovec). With the exhibition we are marking the International Day for Tolerance, 16 November, by presenting works of exceptional authors of posters and at the same time we are opening up an opportunity for much needed dialogue on the topic in the wider society.

New urban equipment is being installed at the Golovec hill in Ljubljana
Visitors of the Golovec hill, the focus area of the URBforDAN project in Ljubljana, are excited about new urban equipment that is being installed. Its purpose is to inform and guide visitors, as well as enrich their time in the forest in various ways.
