Public Transport in Ljubljana
In 2010 the Ljubljana public transport company introduced the universal Urbana travel pass. The Urbana card also brought in a modern electronic payment system that enables free-of-charge travel within a period of 90 minutes from the payment of the first journey.

The old heart of the city is closed to traffic, while it is possible to travel around it using the so-called Cavaliers.

There is a total of almost 4,900 open air parking spaces and 248 spaces in the Kozolec covered car park. The P + R (park and ride with LPP) car park at Dolgi most and in the Center Stožice are becoming evermore popular.

It is also possible to get up to Ljubljana Castle from the Old Town by funicular railway.
