Already the 23rd European Mobility Week in Ljubljana
For the 23rd consecutive year, the City of Ljubljana is participating in the European Mobility Week, the biggest international campaign for the promotion of sustainable mobility, held every year between 16 and 22 September.

Man, exhibition!
Ten years ago, the idea of a communication platform emerged which would encourage a better, caring and respectful attitude towards the shared environment in Ljubljana, promoting inspiring and positive practices and raising awareness of all the negative aspects of a harmful attitude towards the shared environment. The platform was given a meaningful name – Man.

Rog Centre again successful in obtaining EU funding in three European Commission tenders
In the framework of the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission, Centre Rog and its partners have successfully secured two multi-year European projects, through which Centre Rog will draw just over 200,000 EUR in European funding, which will make an important contribution to the development of creative practices and support for craftspeople and artisans at the beginning of their careers.

Asiatic lioness Čaja from the Ljubljana ZOO has a new companion
Lioness Čaja, who has been alone since the death of the male lion Maksimus, has a new companion. In mid-July, lioness Jeevana joined the animal community under the Rožnik Hill.

Ljubljana is among the ten safest cities in Europe
The Best Diplomats organisation ranked Ljubljana third on the list of the safest cities in Europe. The safety rating also emphasises the safety of public passenger transport in our city.

In memoriam: Anita Ogulin
Anita Ogulin, a great humanitarian and an Honorary Citizen of Ljubljana, who dedicated all her life to helping others, especially children, passed away. We said goodbye to Anita Ogulin at the City Council of the City of Ljubljana commemoration session.

Nature in Ljubljana at Night photo competition
We invite you to participate in the Nature in Ljubljana at Night photo competition, which aims to show animals and plants in Ljubljana through photography and thus contribute to raising awareness of the richness of nature in our city. We have set up a network of temperature and humidity meters
As part of a heat island study in the City of Ljubljana, 32 temperature and humidity meters were set up in a network at various locations around the city.
