Did you know that more than 40,000 trees grow in public areas across the city? We are proud that Ljubljana has received the title Tree City of the World for the sixth year in a row.

The exhibition Trees in Ljubljana will be on display at the TAM-TAM Poster Gallery on the Figovec Platform until 6 November 2025. The exhibition reveals how arborists and the employees of city services take care of the city’s trees and urban forest. You will also learn about some of the Trees of the Year, the oldest tree in the city and other unique features of the green treasures of our capital.
