The Arbor Day Foundation and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) have once again recognized our activities and measures in the field of urban tree care in 2024 and awarded us the title City of Trees for the sixth consecutive year.

In Ljubljana, we pay special attention to urban trees because we are aware of their importance for the city, society and individuals. We are proud to be a member of the international network since 2019, which includes 210 cities from 24 countries.
