Mayor Zoran Janković hosted Santa Cruz Mayor Fred Keeley at City Hall on Saturday, 19 July 2025.

On this occasion, the distinguished guest presented him with a recognition marking his appointment as an Honorary Citizen of the City of Santa Cruz.

The Mayor of Santa Cruz expressed his admiration for the leadership of the City of Ljubljana, particularly its innovative approach to sustainable urban development. He and Mayor Zoran Janković discussed their shared views and challenges in this area, as well as opportunities for cooperation between the two cities.
As part of his visit to Ljubljana, Mayor Fred Keeley also attended the official opening of the Vevče Swimming Pool Complex.
