The swimming season in Ljubljana is in full swing. The Kodeljevo Swimming Pool Complex was the last swimming pool complex in Ljubljana to open its doors on June 20th.

Opening hours of Kodeljevo Swimming Pool Complex:

• Monday to Friday: from 9:00 to 19:00,
• Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: from 9:00 to 20:00.

In the summer heat, you can also swim at the Kolezija Swimming Pool Complex and Ilirija Sports Center, where it is especially pleasant in the evenings.

In 2025, on the site of the legendary Ilirija Swimming Pool, a modern and energy-efficient Ilirija Sports Center was built, combining rich tradition with innovative conditions for training and competitions. The Ilirija Sports Center includes an Olympic swimming pool and a regular swimming pool, the Stanko Bloudek Museum, and the outdoor part of the center offers a multi-purpose field, a beach volleyball court, outdoor fitness equipment for outdoor exercise, an athletics track, a splash pool and a children's pool. The swimming pool complex at Kolezija includes an Olympic and children's pool, a splash pool, a massage pool and a platform with wooden deckchairs by the pools. In addition, there are sports and recreational areas with table tennis tables, a basketball court and a beach volleyball court.

Inside the building is also the Sauna Kolezija, which offers pampering in two Finnish saunas, a large Turkish sauna, and an infrared sauna. Details and opening hours can be found here.
