Again this year, the City of Ljubljana participated in the Festival for the Third Age, the largest event for seniors in Europe, held from 20 September to 2 October 2025.

At the City of Ljubljana, we are aware of the importance of ensuring a high-quality and active life in the third age, maintaining social connections and independence, which is why we implement numerous activities, projects, and measures for seniors throughout the year. Every year, we present the full range of these at our exhibition space, where employees from the City of Ljubljana and public companies and institutes provide various information. Among other things, we offer information about different housing solutions provided to seniors by the Public Housing Fund of the City of Ljubljana, the options available through the public passenger transport company LPP, educational opportunities provided by the Cene Štupar Public Institute, and free and other sports programs aimed primarily at them. The Ljubljana Community Health Centre, Ljubljana Pharmacy, and the Home Care Institute of Ljubljana, which represent the core of healthcare and social welfare in our city, also presented themselves at the festival. As part of the festival, we also offered seniors numerous free activities.
