This year, we are continuing the Outside project, which allows residents of Ljubljana's neighbourhoods to implement their ideas for outdoor spaces. With advice, mentoring and financial support, we help them implement small local ideas and promote connections between residents in their neighbourhoods.

We often notice small things in our surroundings that we would like to improve and change. Would you like to plant flowers on the lawn in front of your apartment building or repair the football goal? Maybe organize a picnic for the neighbours, a flea market or a film night? Would you like to plant a herb garden in front of the apartment building or clean up the children's playground? Do you have ideas on how this could be done? As part of the project, we offer advice and help with the organization, and we also cover the cost of buying materials for the project up to 800 euros.

Any individual or group from Ljubljana with a good idea can apply. An expert committee will select the twenty best proposals from the applications received. The selected ideas will be announced at the end of April, and the campaigns will take place until the end of September 2025.

Outside is a project of the City of Ljubljana, with which we have so far implemented 37 ideas from groups of neighbours and friends, promoting connections between residents in neighbourhoods. The project is funded by the City of Ljubljana and coordinated by the Prostorož studio, IPoP – Institute for Spatial Policies and the Pazi!park association, and the initiators and implementers of the actions are the residents of Ljubljana.
