The covered ice rink Ice Fairy Tale is set up on Pogačar Square again this year and will open its doors on Monday, 13 January 2025. You are invited to skate and socialize accompanied by musical rhythms and hot drinks.

Choosing the Tree and the Tree-lined Street of the Year 2024
In recent years, Ljubljana has selected already four trees of the year and one tree-lined street of the year as part of our efforts to care for the city's trees. This year, we will expand the campaign and select both the Tree of the Year and the Tree-lined Street of the Year 2024. Once again, we invite the citizens of Ljubljana to let us know which tree and tree-lined street they think deserves the title.

The renovated Vodnik Homestead opens its doors
The Vodnik Homestead in Šiška has reopened its doors after a complete renovation. Since 2015, the Divja misel institute has been the program manager of the Vodnik Homestead.

We presented the Rožanc Awards
The Marjan Rožanec Awards, the highest recognition of the City of Ljubljana for achievements and work in the field of sports, were presented this year to judoka Andreja Leški, ski jumper Lovro Kos, Jožica Markovič and Anton Hočevar.

The University Botanic Gardens Ljubljana adorned with a new fence
On Wednesday, 20. November 2024, we symbolically opened the new fence of the University Botanic Gardens Ljubljana.
