The golden DIGGIT award

The Zelena Ljubljana (Green Ljubljana) and Primavoda websites received the Golden Awards at the digital communications conference DIGGIT.

The City of Ljubljana uses the website (, which was created within the framework of the title European Green Capital 2016, to address the target group which is ascribing high value to nature, that is, to being green. The website departs from the classic tourist design and addresses the target group with tailored articles about the »green« achievements of the city, and through them invites them to take action to make the green city 2016 even more environmentally and living friendly in future. The successful integration of the target groups is evidenced by almost 4000 Instagram photos with dedicated hashtags, and on average the visitors check almost four subpages, whereas the bounce rate is negligible.
The water and waste water management public company JP Vodovod-Kanalizacija uses different methods of interaction on its website Primavoda to provoke thoughts about water and raise awareness with regard to the necessary protection of this vital fluid. The results are excellent – the number of visits has risen by 130%, the number of users by 111%, the number of page views by 292%, the number of pages viewed by 70% and the average viewing time by 40%. Interest has been sparked as is evidenced by 6.14 pages viewed per session, which is significantly above the average.
