  • Environment in the City of Ljubljana 2017

Residents of Ljubljana – and the many visitors
to the city – agree that Ljubljana is a city that
meets human needs. It retains the alluring
friendliness of a small town but at the same
time offers everything you would expect from a
capital city: it is the political and cultural heart
of the Slovene nation, an important European
centre of commerce and business, a major
conference and exhibition venue, the centre of
Slovenia's scientific and academic life, and the
    country's most important transport hub.

In this brochure we showcase our measures to promote employment and more work, measures to provide much needed housing, measures to provide various forms of help to those in social distress and measures to promote simple social inclusion for all, regardless of their social status.
