suggests cleansing programmes and ensures their implementation and supervision,
ensures a more detailed or special monitoring of the state of the environment and nature and manages an IT system for protecting the environment and nature,
prepares studies of vulnerability and evaluations of the extent to which the environment is endangered as well as reports on the state of the environment and nature,
evaluates the effects of plans and intended interventions into the environment,
works towards raising awareness, informing and educating the public in connection with environmental protection and preservation of nature,
ensures management of protected natural assets of local importance.
