1001 Inventions

The Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre hosts 1001 Inventions, the leading internationally renowned exhibition on inventions in the golden age of the Islamic civilisation and its ground-breaking discoveries in the fields of science, technology and culture.

The world renowned travelling exhibition is a true interactive experience with more than 60 interactive exhibits, a topmost range of models, various games, productions, products and reliable sources, which portray the science and cultural heritage of the Islamic civilisation from 7th to 16th Century.

The exhibition employs professionalism and credibility to introduce to the modern man the remote and mostly dappled heritage of inspiring men and women of various religions and cultures from a civilisation, which once spread from Spain to China. Some of the milestone discoveries, which left an indelible mark in the modern world, are presented.

Exhibition is opened from 3 April to 2 July, 2015; every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Detailed information on the exhibition is available here.
