A brochure produced by the City of Ljubljana's Department for Health and Social Care entitled '365-day battle against violence against women in Ljubljana' was showcased at City Hall on Tuesday 7 December.

Those attending the presentation were addressed by Mayor Zoran Janković, President of the Non-Violence Association Špela Veselič, the Minister for Work, Family and Social Affairs Dr Ivan Svetlik and Interior Minister Katarina Kresal.

Via this brochure the City of Ljubljana seeks, in the framework of the international days of the battle against violence against women, to draw public attention to the importance not just of the battle against violence against women but also the battle against any kind of violence, as Mayor Zoran Janković emphasised.

In the form of contributions, the '365-day battle against violence against women in Ljubljana' brochure presents the work and experience of organisations and individuals that, in Ljubljana, are engaged in the field of violence against women and provide assistance. The contact details of organisations to which women who are victims of violence can refer are also included.
