In June, for the first time in almost 80 years, an orchid from the bog orchid group was found in the area of the Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška Hill Landscape Park.

The exceptional find is a result of this year's Barje project in the City of Ljubljana, carried out on behalf of the City of Ljubljana by the Association for Wetland Research of Slovenia – Wetlands of Slovenia. This is the first reaffirmation of the success in the western part of Ljubljana.
