Next year the European Futsal Championship is going to be held in Ljubljana with the Stožice Center as the venue for its matches.

On Friday, 5 May 2017, Mayor Zoran Janković, President of the Football Association of Slovenia Radenko Mijatović and the Director of the public institute Ljubljana Sport and Leisure Facilities Tatjana Polajnar signed the agreement on holding the UEFA Futsal EURO 2018 at the Stožice Center.

The championship is going to take place at the Stožice Center from 30 January to 10 February 2018 with 12 national teams competing, among them the Slovenian team.
