Again this year, the summer in Ljubljana is opening with the traditional June in Ljubljana festival, which will be held at Congress Square from 7 to 21 June 2023. The festival will feature over 40 events, all of them admission-free.

At this year's festival, we will show top theatre, music and dance performances of different artistic genres and offer an insight into the production of public cultural institutes and non-governmental organizations in the field of art.

We will open the festival on 7 June with a concert by the outstanding musicians of the Big Band Orchestra of the Slovenian Army under the direction of Rudolf Strnad, with guests Neisha and Jana Šušteršič, who will present fresh big band arrangements of soul evergreens. There will be 14 more diverse festival days, among which we highlight ballet, circus and rainbow day, Art Day, Contemporary Dance Day and music concerts by top performers.

The festival is admission free, with all events taking place at Congress Square.
