An ice fairy tale on Pogačar Square

From 13 January to 5 March 2023, an ice rink will be set up on Pogačar Square. On the first day, you can skate from 17:00 and then every day from 11:00 to 21:00.

The ice skating ticket costs 1 euro, and ice skates can be rented for 4 euros (including the entrance fee) and a penguin ice skating aid for 3 euros.

The use of winter gloves is mandatory on the ice rink. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

Where else can you go ice skating?

You can also go ice skating at the Tivoli and Zalog ice rinks, which are managed by the public institute Ljubljana Sport.

The Tivoli Hall offers ice skating:
• on Thursdays from 19:00 to 20:30,
• on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00,
• on Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00.

The Zalog Hall offers ice skating on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 12:30.

The price of ice skating is 3 euros, and the rental of ice skates or penguins is 4 euros.

Ice skating for the first time also in the Ljubljana ZOO

This year, for the first time, an ice skating rink was set up in the Ljubljana ZOO, and it is open every day until 19:00. Ice skating is free-of-charge during the working hours of the Ljubljana ZOO (until 16:30), and after closing, the ice rink is accessible for a symbolic price of 2 euros. You can also enjoy hot drinks and delicious Christmas waffles by the ice skating rink. The ice rink will stay open until the end of the winter school holidays.
