On Wednesday, 15 August 2018, we logged a new daily record number of passengers transported with the funicular to the Ljubljana Castle. As many as 3,670 passengers took the funicular.

This is the second daily record in the past few days – just as a reminder, we set the last one on Saturday, 11 August, when 3,541 passengers took a ride on the funicular.

The tourist season is at its peak as is evident from the data from the crossing counters at the Ljubljana Castle which in the past five days recorded just shy of 40,000 visitors to the central tourist attraction in our city.
