Another month to the pinnacle of UEFA U21
We are starting the countdown to the final matches of the European championship for young football players UEFA U21, taking place at the Stožice Stadium. We are a month away from the quarterfinal match.
Ljubljana is the proud host of the European championship for young football players UEFA U21 and we are already counting down the days until the final matches, taking place at the Stožice stadium. The quarterfinal match is taking place there on Monday, 31 May, and the final on Sunday, 6 June.
Dunking Devils marked by football
Together with the acrobatic group Dunking Devils, we are counting down to the pinnacle of the UEFA U21 European Championship. Top acrobats performed football antics on the Prešeren Square, at the Ljubljana Castle, in the Tivoli Park and along the Ljubljanica River.
Varied activities also in district communities
All district communities in Ljubljana are also actively included in the countdown to the pinnacle of this year's championship by participating in a football relay, starting with the District Community Šentvid on Monday, 3 May, and passes between district communities until the end of May.
