In April, when we celebrate both International Children's Book Day and World Book Day, in Ljubljana, UNESCO City of Literature, we pay special attention to reading.

With spring events of the Ljubljana City Library included in the Reading Mosaics, we promote the reading culture and open the doors to quality literary experiences.

Fair in the Fresh Air at World Book Day

At World Book Day, fans of good books can enjoy the ninth Fair in the Fresh Air on Saturday, 20 April 2024, in Star Park. A total of 61 publishers will arrange their booths and tables lined with the best they have to offer. At the fair, they will present a special selection of books, including many new releases, offering fair discounts. Many publishers will be present at their booths and available for meetings, talks and book presentations. On the fair stage, which opens at exactly 10:00 with a fair musical reveille, book discussions, readings and presentations will continue into the evening.
