Art in a parking house

The parking house Congress Square is showing the exhibition Liberty, prepared by the Pionirski dom Centre for Youth Culture.

It is a new collaboration between the public company Ljubljanska parkirišča in tržnice d.o.o. and the Pionirski dom Centre for Youth Culture within the framework of which artworks of Maruša Meglič (Slovenia), lo_milo (Slovenia), Lidija Zeneripa (Latvia) and Eske Tuborg Matthiesen (Denmark) are adorning the walls of the parking house as part of the exhibition Liberty.

The exhibition is designed as an intersection of different generations, nationalities and ideas, brought together by one theme: freedom.

The exhibition derives from the international programme Liberty, bringing together 12 partners from 10 countries enabling networking of artists from different parts of Europe. The project started in 2019 and it ends in 2023. It is co-financed be the EU Programme Creative Europe, the culture sub-programme.
