Brain – the inside story

The Brain: The Inside Story exhibition at the Gospodarsko Razstavišče Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ljubljana will be on display until 24 August 2014.

The educational, modern and interactive exhibition explores how the brain works, senses, feels, thinks and changes.

The exhibition, which expands over more than 1,300 m2, is based on research and technology of the 21st century to introduce us to the newest discoveries from neuroscience. Interactive displays, puzzles, brain-scan imaging and spectacular models give the visitors a chance to explore senses, emotions, thoughts, brain development, and even future of brain.

Human brain – a result of million years of ongoing evolution – uses molecular, chemical and electrical signals to interpret information, consider decisions and learn in every step of our lives. Drawing on 21st century research and technology, The Brain: The Inside Story exhibition offers visitors a new perspective on their own brain with the aid of artistic imagination, explicit brain imaging and dynamic interactive tools for all ages.

The Brain: The Inside Story exhibition by the American Museum of Natural History in New York was organised with the help of: Codice. Idee per la cultura, Torino, Italy in collaboration with Comune di Milano – Assessorato Cultura (City of Milano – Department of Culture), Italy; Guangdong Science Center, Guangzhou, China; and Parque de las Ciencias (Nature Park), Granada, Spain.

The exhibition is available for viewing every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
