Clean air – it’s your move!

From 16 to 22 September 2013, the City of Ljubljana will take part in European Mobility Week for the 12th year running. This year's central theme is 'Clean air – it’s your move!’

The purpose of European Mobility Week, the most widespread campaign for sustainable mobility, is to encourage the authorities in European towns and cities to introduce sustainable measures in the transport field and invite citizens in developed urban areas to consider and try out ever better-established means of transport, meaning using alternatives to their private cars. Thus, in Ljubljana, we encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport via a range of measures, as we believe that in this way we will improve the quality of life in the city.
