On Tuesday 23 April 2013, City Hall was the venue of a conference entitled ‘Measures by local authorities as bearers of sustainable change in the field of sustainable mobility’.

The purpose of the conference was to encourage the active participation of local authorities in European Mobility Week. Those taking part discussed the possibilities for local authorities to take advantage of the framework and support of this European initiative and implement sustainable measures to improve mobility in their local environments.

As part of the ‘Slovenia reducing CO2: good practice’ project, City of Ljubljana city wardens showcased the use of work bikes by wardens in the City of Ljubljana, while City of Ljubljana representatives spoke about the campaign in the European Mobility Week context .
