Donation fund for those who lost everything in the floods

This summer in Slovenia was undoubtedly marked by various meteorological disasters, and the worst consequences were floods followed by landslides, which swept away people's homes and property. Floods also affected Ljubljana.

In the City of Ljubljana, together with the Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Moste-Polje, headed by Honourable Citizen Anita Ogulin, we have established a donation fund to collect funds to help those who lost their living quarters in the floods. We want support to help them renovate their homes as soon as possible so that children can feel safe again.

You can show your support by making a bank transfer to the following account:

ZPM Ljubljana Moste-Polje, Proletarska cesta 1, 1000 Ljubljana

Funds for renovating living quarters

The collected funds will be used for renovating living quarters – ground and upper floors, basements are exempt, and only owners living in their homes are eligible, not the landlords.

The Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Moste-Polje will distribute the collected funds among the residents according to the collected data. In principle, the criterion is the net income of the entire household: in case of income up to EUR 1,500, 75% of the costs of renovating walls and floors are co-financed, and 50% above this amount. Contractors and not residents will receive the funds. In solidarity, individuals who can afford it can give up this aid in favour of their neighbours.
