As part of the European Mobility Week, we opened a new bike park along the street Cesta v Gorice, as a permanent measure.

The bike park was set up right next to the residential neighborhood of the City of Ljubljana Public Housing Fund, also at the initiative of many residents and locals. »With the project, we have shown that for the City of Ljubljana Public Housing Fund, the development of a neighborhood does not end when it is constructed and opened to residents, but rather that we listen to the initiatives of tenants and nearby residents and that we also continue developing the area to improve leisure time activities,« said Aleš Tomažin, head of the Investments Sector at the City of Ljubljana Public Housing Fund.

The park is designed as a public area for active spending of free time for all age groups. Games for the youngest users of the park are drawn on the asphalt surface of the path, and along the path, there is a bicycle park, outdoor exercise equipment, and an asphalt court for ball games and table tennis.
We chose native, undemanding, quickly adaptable and medium-fast growing plants to plant the surroundings. The total value of the investment is 340,000 EUR.
